"Vibe Check: Claude Code Now Works on Mobile and the Web" by Dan Shipper and Katie Parrott/Vibe Check: If you code with AI, you know the score: You’ve got to stay at your keyboard. Anthropic’s newly released web and mobile version of Claude Code promises liberation, but are they ready for prime time? Dan Shipper, Kieran Klaassen, and Danny Aziz spent a weekend testing it across real scenarios—and two of them gave up trying to use it. Read this for an honest early assessment of when you might be able to truly code from anywhere.
"We Tested Claude Sonnet 4.5 for Writing and Editing" by Katie Parrott/Vibe Check: Katie Parrott and Danny ran real-world tests to see if Sonnet 4.5 could replace a two-model setup of ChatGPT for drafting and Claude for editing. It excelled at long-form drafts and maintaining voice, while GPT-5 still edges it out in some other important ways. Read this to learn whether a single chatbot is ready to take over your writing habits.
"Vibe Check: OpenAI's New AI Browser, Atlas" by Dan Shipper and Katie Parrott/Vibe Check: OpenAI just dropped a browser, and it puts Google on notice. Katie got Atlas running in three minutes and felt comfortable enough to make it her default browser within five. Read this for a day-zero hands-on review of whether Atlas delivers.
"Introducing Spiral v3: An AI Writing Partner With Taste" by Dan Shipper and Danny Aziz/On Every: Most AI writing tools are great at churning out content that smells like a robot wrote it, so we rebuilt Spiral from the ground up with editorial taste. It slows you down, asks you hard questions like a real ghostwriter, and shows you several ways your idea could branch before collapsing into one optimal answer. Read this—and give Spiral a try—if you want an AI writing partner that has something to say and an elegant way to say it.
"He Built an AI Ghostwriter With Taste" by Rhea Purohit/AI & I: Danny loves AI but hates slop. Which is why he built Spiral. It's loaded with everything we know about great writing at Every, so your short-form content sounds like you, not a model. Listen to this if you want to understand how to build with AI without sacrificing your craft—and stick around for the “Dan vs. AI Dan” showdown at the end. 🎧 🖥 Listen on Spotify or Apple Podcasts, or watch on X or YouTube.
"Seeing Creativity Like a Language Model" by Dan Shipper/Chain of Thought: Dan argues that AI won't replace creative work—it'll transform it from sculpting (direct creation) to gardening (creating conditions and directing output). Read this—the fourth in a series of excerpts from a book that Dan is writing—if you want to stop fearing AI will flatten your creativity and start using it to amplify what makes your work uniquely yours. (The previous three addressed the post-GPT-3 worldview, science, and business.)

Spiral v3’s early returns
Spiral’s rebuild painstakingly encodes Every's editorial principles into the system—active voice, concrete details, hooks that land—so outputs don't smell like AI. Early users are already noticing the difference—one writer saw an immediate benefit after posting their first tweet using Spiral:
Another called it "an opinionated, tasteful writing partner instead of a sycophantic pushover." Danny built the entire thing solo in a few months using Claude Opus 4, which finally has what he calls "a real gut sense for writing." Try it for yourself.
Monologue's local model just got much faster
Monologue can now process an hour of audio in under a second with its new local model, and general manager Naveen Naidu simplified the entire experience. No more choosing between small, medium, or large models—just pick local or remote, and you're done. The new local model supports 25 languages and cuts transcription latency by more than half compared to early October. Download Monologue: monologue.to

Freedom to discover. When we think of the cutting edge of medicine, we think of miracle drugs, dramatic surgeries, and devices that prolong our lives. But ask any researcher and they’ll tell you: The path to each breakthrough is paved with paperwork.
That’s why the pharma giant Novo Nordisk’s new use case for Claude is so impressive—Anthropic’s AI was able to cut the creation of clinical documentation from 10 weeks to 10 minutes.
Right now, a single clinical trial requires thousands of pages of documentation recording every side effect, every dose delivered, and every deviation from protocol. That data then has to be custom-formatted to meet a litany of varying standards set by regulators and institutional review boards. It adds up to about two and a half months of a researcher's life spent describing what they did instead of doing science.
By embedding Claude directly into lab systems, Anthropic is giving scientists what coders already have: tools that automate tedious documentation and streamline their workflow.
Of course, we'll still need to watch for AI hallucinations, and yes, there's still huge value in researchers spending time writing as a means of processing their own thoughts. But killing off mountains of paperwork is an unmitigated net good that will free up scientists to spend more time discovering the next life-saving breakthrough.—Ashwin Sharma
